Comcast has completed the service-affecting work that was scheduled for today.

We received the following notice from Comcast at 12:39PM today (August 24)

We've completed work to enhance the Comcast Business network near 100 Bigelow St Modem8. 

Your services should be up and running now. If you are still experiencing service interruptions, visit the Service Status Center. 

Thank you again for your patience while we made these changes. This work allows us to continue to offer you reliable service, greater network capacity, and faster speeds – so you can do even more for your customers.

Today we received the following notice from Comcast about work that will affect the Business Modem services that many of you have at the MGHPCC.  On behalf of Comcast, we apologizefor the last minute notice.

We will be working to enhance the Comcast Business network tomorrow, 08/24. These enhancements will affect services at 100 Bigelow St Modem8. Our team may begin working as early as 6 a.m. and we anticipate completing work within the day.  

During this time, you can expect interruptions to all of your Comcast Business services, and if you are a Comcast Business Voice customer, you will not be able to call 911 from your wired phone line. Please know our teams will work as efficiently as possible to limit the duration of these interruptions.
