As with any work involving MGHPCC power distribution infrastructure, there is elevated risk.

Description

MGHPCC will be making changes to the wiring for the Automatic Transfer Switches that control the transfer to Generator power when a Utility power outage occurs.  This will involve disabling both generators while the work is being done.  In the unlikely event that a utility power outage occurs while the generators are unavailable, operation of both UPS-backed and non-UPS-backed equipment in the data center would be disrupted.
