MGHPCC Planned Maintenance was completed at 7:00 PM on Thursday May 23.

The facility is back in  operation, and equipment in the computer room may be powered back up.

A reminder that the MGHPCC will be conducting planned facility maintenance on Thursday May 23, 2024.

During this interval, all equipment in the computer room must be powered down.
     * Estimated Start Time: Thursday May 23, 2024 3:00AM US/Eastern
     * Estimated End Time:  Thursday May 23, 2024 9:00PM US/Eastern

Equipment Status
The following equipment will stay powered up during the maintenance interval:
    MIT fiber network DWDM
    UMASSNET DWDM
    MGHPCC public internet access
    Building wireless network
    Key box in the front lobby
    Phone service and cell phone repeater
    Minimal lighting in the computer room and office areas

Communication channels that will open at 4AM
   Regular Status updates will be posted at portal.mghpcc.org<http://portal.mghpcc.org/>
   MGHPCC staff will respond to messages on the #shutdown channel in  the
       MGHPCC Slack workspace (https://mghpcc.slack.com<https://mghpcc.slack.com/>)

   10:00PM — All equipment in the computer room powered down
   10:00PM — UPS units off line
    3:00 AM — Everyone out of the computer room for the shutdown sequence
    8:00 AM — People may return to the computer room while maintenance is under way

    3:00 PM — Everyone out of the computer room for the startup sequence
    9:00 PM — Resume normal facility operation
