Hello Kaizen OpenStack & OpenShift 3.x Users,

We launched the Mass Open Cloud (MOC) with a vision of creating a production cloud that would enable innovation by a broad industry and research community.

The MOC has successfully supported hundreds of projects supporting tens of thousands of users, transitioned research projects into upstream software artifacts, and formed a community of interrelated research projects, the Mass Open Cloud Alliance<https://massopen.cloud/>.

One of those projects is the New England Research Cloud (NERC), a production cloud with professional operations and a team of experienced facilitators. The NERC supports OpenStack and OpenShift services.

OpenStack projects on the MOC which chose to migrate to the NERC have done so. With that in mind, on May 1st, 2023 the hardware supporting MOC Kaizen OpenStack & OpenShift 3.x clusters will be repurposed for other uses.

This a final opportunity for MOC OpenStack projects to access the data on any of your volumes; please create a ticket at support.massopen.cloud<https://support.massopen.cloud/> by April 20th to have your instance turned back on so you may create backups of your volumes to store locally.

The older OpenShift 3.x cluster has been off for several weeks, if you need to back up any of your information from this environment please open a ticket here<https://osticket.massopen.cloud/login.php> by April 20th so that we may assist you in accessing your data.

If you have any additional questions, please create a ticket here<https://osticket.massopen.cloud/login.php>.

Thanks!

Michael Daitzman
